Jinja is one of the most visited cities of Uganda and it is best known for the source of the Nile. It is a great destination of adventure where most travelers make a perfect use of their leisure with lifetime memories due to the activities done.
Our 2 days Jinja tour gives a very wonderful travel experience taking you to some of the most interesting activities. Activities such as white water rafting and boat riding. The tour usually begins from Kampala or Entebbe taking you through several beautiful natural features such as the great Mabira Forest.
Detailed itinerary of the 2 days Jinja Tour
Day 1: Transfer from Kampala/ Entebbe from to Jinja
You will begin with your morning with a delicious morning breakfast after which you will meet our drive/guide. The driver will brief you about your trip to Jinja and what you will be doing there. You will drive heading to the East of Kampala and the journey is likely to take about 2-2.5 hours.
During the journey, you will make several en route stop overs such as at Sezibwe falls to watch the stunning landscape as you enjoy a short nature walk. Another stop over will be made at the Mabira Forest for another short nature walk with a local guide through the tropical rainforest. A walk through this forest will give you perfect sightings of several bird and primate species.
From Mabira Forest, you will proceed as you drive through the vast sugar plantations to Jinja. You will make another stop over at Bujagali falls and you will learn about the spiritual beliefs of the locals about these scenic falls.
A visit to the source of the Nile and then Samuka Island for a rewarding bird watching safari.

Day 2: white water rafting on the River Nile
Immediately after an early morning breakfast at your lodge, you will head to the water rafting starting point for briefing as you dress up for the rafting. The Rafting will be done in the morning from exactly 9: am for 3 to 4 hours. Immediately after, you will head back to your lodge, have lunch and check out. Then embark on your journey back to Kampala or Entebbe.
In case you arrive at Kampala early, you will have a simple tour around the city and then be transferred back to your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe.
